A Level

I have helped many students to attain top results in A Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a course of tuition to suit your child or children.

A Level exams are taken by students in UK schools and colleges between the ages of 16 & 18. They are the standard route for UK students to gain entry to university.

A Level courses typically last two years starting in Year 12 (aged 16) with final written exams taken at the end of Year 13 (aged 18). Students have the option of sitting exams at the end of Year 12 as a stand-alone AS Level.

Students sit A Levels in three or four subjects. Typically they will take on four subjects in year 12 and then drop one in order to focus on the other three in Year 13.
